My name is Gérald Lambert, and I’ve been working full-time in the music industry for over 25 years.

I started out as a songwriter and musician, working with a number of different singers.

A few years later, I started a label called Bypass to give young independent artists a real chance to get noticed by the media.

Under the name ARKER, I released my debut album (distributed by Universal), with five singles receiving national radio airplay, followed by two years of gigs and festivals across the Benelux.

Then came a duo with singer Yoko Sound, for whom I wrote and produced the album Not Enemy (distributed by Bang!/PIAS), while also joining her on stage in Belgium and France, including support slots for Nouvelle Vague, The Dø and Tricky.

ARKER music career timeline

Over time, I had the opportunity to expand my work into live coaching, mentoring, songwriting camps, conferences, career development for independent artists and consulting for international cultural institutions.

In 2019, I also worked for the Luxembourg Music Export Office as their rock, pop, electronic and urban music expert, accompanying artists at showcase festivals across Europe.

Today, I continue to work with emerging talent.

With the same passion for music, and the same desire to be useful to each of them.

I never really stopped being an artist, a songwriter or a musician.

I just evolved naturally towards putting much of that experience and creativity into other people’s projects.
